Try to avoid sticky foods like raisins, soft candies, toffees, caramels, wafers, pastries, doughnuts, etc. They generally do not dissolve easily with the saliva and stick to your mouth causing serious dental decay. Aerated drinks are also not good for your oral health as they results in plaque and cavity.

Too much of sugary edibles are generally the biggest enemies to your teeth. This is a big concern as these foods are a great favorite with the kids and they can hardly keep away from the. Thus, you need to take special care of your kid and teach them to wash their mouth as times as they eat such foods.

You need to increase your intake of vitamin C and calcium components in order to improve your oral health.

Increase your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables like apple, oranges, lemons, celery, carrots, etc. as they are rich sources of vitamin A and C. Also, eat more of calcium-contained food like low fat milk, cheese, yoghurt, nuts, etc.
