These are generally prescribed by the health care provider. For doing these exercises etc, a woman has to take support of her partner. Pregnancy pillows can also be taken for getting relief from groin pain. These pillows are easily available in the market. Similarly, in groin pain, pregnancy belt or any other such support device can be worn. This also helps in relieving pain.

It is said that preventing is better than cure. Thus, a pregnant woman should be careful about certain aspects so that groin pain does not develop or does not become severe. First of all, she must practice good posture with pelvic and hips tucked in. She must wear comfortable shoes and must avoid high heeled shoes. While taking rest or sleeping, she should lie on her sides with knees bent.

A pillow can be placed between the knees. Similarly, a pillow can be placed under the belly. These tactics take off pressure at the pelvic region and thus, prevent groin pain. As said, pregnancy support belt can prove useful. For strengthening the body, exercises as prescribed by the health care provider must be done regularly.
