Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Sneak Peek Review & Releasing Month

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Sneak Peek Review & Releasing MonthWith a total running time of nearly 2 ½ hours, one would expect thatHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part I’ itself would have shown most of the happenings of the final installment of the Harry Potter series.

However, judging by the previews and the movies’ original trailer (being aired on television and multiplexes), it is imminent that the second and final part of the installment, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows II’ would have more stories, characters, action sequences and of course magical battles to dish out.

The original story of the final installment which would bring an end to the ultimate Harry Potter saga has been written by J. K. Rowling who is also the author for the previous adaptations.

Keeping in mind the attention that needed to be given to detail and the large amount of storyline that needed to be fit into a very short time frame, the makers of the movie decided to screen it in two separate installments, the first of which released worldwide on November 19th 2010 and is running to packed houses.

However, If you are really interested to know what would happen in the final installment (Part II), here’s a sneak peek into the proceedings as depicted by the previews and trailers.

The trailer that shows shots from Part II of the film reveals a scene wherein Harry, Ron and Hermoine plan to sneak into the Goblin bank (Gringott’s) in order to access Bellatrix Lestrange’s vault which supposedly contains a Horcrux.

Hermoine disguises herself as Bellatrix Lestrange to access the vault and the friends find that they need to battle it out with the dragon that stands guard inside the bank.

In the original book, the scene occurs just after the evil Lord Voldermort acquires the Elder Wand which by the way is the last scene of the movie in Part I. So our guess is that Part II would start off with the heist at the goblin bank.

Fans also need to brace themselves for the ultimate battle between Lord Valdermort’s army of Death Eaters and the wizards at Hogwarts. The previews show the protective charms around the school being broken and the rooms and dorms being demolished as the Death Eaters start their rampage. A specific shot of Harry, Ron and Hermoine trying to escape from the blazing Room of Requirements in the trailer has garnered a lot of interest.

The trailer also shows scenes of the final confrontation between Lord Voldermort and Harry after the attack on Hogwarts. The scene shows Harry venturing into the Forbidden Forest to confront and surrender himself to his arch enemy after learning about his true destiny.

The final clipping of the trailer shows Voldermort grasping Harry’s face in his hands and asking him, “Why do you live?”; to which Harry is seen replying, “Because I have something to live for.” The trailer ends with a brief glimpse of the final battle between ultimate good and evil, Harry and Lord Voldermort.

Many other smaller scenes from the second part are also shown in the original trailer (for example, a kiss between Ginny and Harry). However, which scenes remain to be a part of the final installment of Harry Potter series can be seen only when the movie hits the theatres.

The next and final installment is all set to hit the theatres next July (2011). Until then, it would be an anxious wait for all of the Harry Potter fans who just can’t seem to get enough of the trailers that show tantalizing glimpses of what’s in store for them in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II.
