How Do You Know If He Is Ready for Marriage & Signs That a Man Ready for Marriage » Relationship advice: Is He Ready For Marriage? You have found the perfect man of your dreams and wedding bells have started ringing in your ears. Everything seems to be going perfectly, just like a fairy tale and you have decided that it is the right time to broach the subject of marriage.

Imagine your surprise and chagrin when the guy whom you thought you knew very well, turned out to be a stranger, after all. Because the signs that you thought were an indication from heaven that you were a perfect match were for him just crossed signals. So, the talk of the future just yielded a sorry speech from him and a broken heart and bruised ego for you.

For the ones who have not yet broached the subject of marriage, read on to see if any of the signs fit your man as well. If it does, maybe you need to wait for a while or forget about marriage altogether.

The ultimate party animal: If your man shows the signs of being on a social high and can hardly leave his male friends behind for a date out with you, than he definitely needs some time to get that out of his system. Many men hate to be tied down with the fear that they will have to say goodbye to their happening lifestyle and if he is one of them than it might be hard luck for you.

No “meet my mom” gestures: Men who are ready for marriage, especially with you will eventually like you to meet his family, especially his mother. They need their mom’s approval, at least subconsciously and will definitely take you to meet her when he is ready. But the guy who hardly ever talk about his family and avoids all your “when am I meeting your mom” questions most likely doesn’t have marriage in his mind.

No plans about the future: A guy who wants to build a life with you and is thinking about including you in his future, will definitely talk about his goals and plans. Even if he doesn’t include you there yet, he will still discuss about his career and the kind of future he wants for himself eventually.

And if there are hints that he throws here and there about you being a part of that future, you can start heaving a sigh of relief. On the other hand if your guy is only interested in having a “good time” and only talks about his golf handicap, you need to wait a while before knocking him on the head with the topic of marriage.

He hates his friends being married: This is a unquestionable sign of commitment phobia. If your boyfriend curses every time he attend a friend’s wedding and considers it the guy’s bad luck to be hooked into the married life, you need to forget your own wedding plans for some time. A guy who is hung up on his bachelorhood likes his friends to be there on the same boat and hates it when they get hitched.

The above signs might indicate your guy’s readiness for marriage or not, but all is definitely not lost yet. If you feel that your relationship is worth the wait, give it some time and your guy will come around in his own sweet time. Or there are definitely more fishes in the pond as they say.
