1. Brazilian Passion Fruit Mousse

This is just perfect mousse for those who do not like too sweet dessert; rather it is slight tart and tangy in taste. This dessert takes just 1 hr. 15 minutes to get ready. The given recipe yields 6 servings.

Ingredients

Cream – 2 Cups

Sweetened Condensed Milk – 14 ounces or 1 Can

White Sugar – 1 Tbsp

Passion Fruits – 8

Directions

Split all the passion fruits in half and pour its contents in a bowl. Also rinse out the juice stuck in their skin. Using your hands, crush and soften its pulp. With the help of a cheesecloth or sieve, strain the pulp. Now it is time to add, white sugar and condensed milk.

Pour the cream in a chilled bowl or keep your bowl over ice. Beat the cream until it forms stiff peaks. Pour 1/3 of beaten cream in the passion fruit mixture and fold. When it is mixed completely, quickly fold in the left cream.

Keep it in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Ingredients

Milk – 1 ½ cup

Instant Chocolate Pudding – 3.9 ounces

Frozen whipped topping (thawed) – 1 container or 16 ounce

Directions

Mix in the instant chocolate pudding and the 1 ½ cup of milk. Just pour the whipped topping and fold it in until it is blended. Keep it in refrigerator until chilled before serving.

3. Chocolate Mousse

This lip smacking chocolate dessert can be easily prepared without much hassles. It takes just 30 minutes to get ready.

Ingredients

Semisweet chocolate (coarsely chopped) – 1ounce

Water – 1/2 cup

Butter – 2 tablespoons

Yolk of three eggs

Sugar – 2 tbsp

Whipping cream (whipped) -1 1/4 cups

Directions

Pour chocolate, butter and ¼ cups of water in a double boiler or microwave. Melt the butter and chocolate. Cool the mixture for 10 minutes.

Take a heavy saucepan and beat in egg yolks, sugar and ¼ cup of water.

Keep it over low flame for about 2 minutes or until the temperature is 160 degree F. Put the flame off and blend in the chocolate mixture. Keep the saucepan over ice and keep stirring it for about 10 minutes. Mix in the whipped cream. Pour it in the dessert dishes and keep it in refrigerator overnight.
