Ingredients:

1 packet of linguine
1 1/3 cups of baby shrimp
1 can of white clam sauce
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/8 tsp of white pepper
2 tbsp of fresh parsley leaves, minced
2 tbsp of white wine, dry
3 tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese
100 grams of imitation crab flakes
1/2 cup of scallops

Method:

Cook the pasta as per the package directions. Set aside when done. Mount a pot on medium heat and in it add the clam sauce, garlic, white pepper, the parsley, white wine, and 2 tablespoons of the grated Parmesan cheese. Combine all the ingredients well. After a minute or two add in the shrimp, crab flakes and scallops. Reduce the heat to low and simmer till the sauce is thoroughly heated and the scallops become opaque. Remove from heat. Drain the cooked pasta and transfer it to a serving bowl. Pour the seafood sauce all over it and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top. You can also sprinkle some more of the minced parsley leaves on top. Serve.

GRILLED CHICKEN WITH WHOLE WHEAT PASTA AND ROASTED TOMATO BASE

Serving: 6 persons

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

250 grams of chicken breast, skinless, boneless
100 grams of whole wheat pasta
50 grams of roasted tomato puree
1/4 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste
10 cloves of garlic, minced
10-15 basil leaves
1 tsp of honey
100 ml of olive oil
5 tsp of fresh lemon juice
2 roasted chilies, seeds removed
Salt to taste

Method:

Mount a pot with 2 cups of lightly salted water on medium heat. When the water starts boiling add the chicken to it and let it cook for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat when done. Transfer the chicken to a mixing bowl and add the ginger-garlic paste, salt and honey to it.

Combine all the ingredients well and set to marinate for about 30 minutes. When the chicken has been marinated grease the grill thoroughly with the olive oil. Grill the chicken well for 15 minutes till it is done well on all sides. Remove from the grill. In the mean time cook the pasta as per the directions given on the packet. When done strain the water. Mount a frying pan on medium heat with 1 tablespoon of the oil.

When the oil has been heated add the minced garlic and saute for a minute. Then reduce the flame to low and add in the basil and tomato puree.Cook for about 5 minutes and then add the cooked pasta to the pan. Combine well. Remove from heat and serve with the grilled chicken.
