1. Paneer – 125 grams (small cubes)
2. Green Peas – 3/4 cup ( cooked)
3. Butter – 3 tablespoons
4. Onions- 2 large (thinly sliced)
5. Tomatoes- 2 large
6. Garlic paste- 1 teaspoon
7. Ginger paste- 1 teaspoon
8. Red chilly powder- 1 teaspoon
9. Garam masala- ½ teaspoon
10. Cumin seeds- 2-3 pinches (roasted and powdered)
11. Kasuri Methi leaves- ½ teaspoon
12. Cashewnut paste- 4 tablespoons
13. Cream- ¼ cup
14. Tomato sauce- 2 tablespoon
15. Water- 1 cup
16. Sugar- 1 teaspoon
17. salt as required
18. Coriander leaves- ¼ cup (chopped)
19. Oil- 1 tablespoon
20. Red food color- 1-2 drops (You may substitute food color with dried red chilly paste)

Preparation method

1. Take oil in a frying pan and add the thinly sliced onions to it. Saute it well until it becomes soft and tender. Take it off from the fire before it turns brown.
2. Now grind the sauteed onions and mix it well with the cashew nut paste. Keep this mixture aside.
3. In a clean frying pan, take the butter and allow it to melt. Now add ginger and garlic paste to the heated butter and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Lower the heat and see that it is not burnt.
4. Add red chilly powder and saute again.
5. Blend the tomatoes in a blender and add to the above pan. Let it get cooked well. When the gravy is thickened and leaves the sides of the pan, add the tomato sauce and stir thoroughly.
6. Now transfer the cashew nut and onion paste to the frying pan. Stir again till the gravy is free from any lumps.
7. Add paneer cubes and cooked green peas to the spicy gravy. Put the salt as required and pour water for cooking. Close the lid and allow it to cook for 10-15 minutes.
8. Add food color and cook for further two minutes.
9. To boost the aroma, add Kasuri methi, garam masala and cumin seeds powder.
10. Pour cream on top and garnish with coriander leaves.
11. Take it of from heat and serve hot!
