This pudding has a fresh orange flavour which makes it very tempting.

Ingredients:

Milk- 1 litre
Eggs- 3
Sugar- 1 ½ cups
Bread- 4 slices
Orange- 1
Cardamom powder- ½ teaspoon

Method of Preparation:

1. Cut the sides of the breads and keep the soft white part. Boil 1 cup milk. Now add the bread pieces to this milk and mash them nicely. Add the eggs to the bread. Blend them nicely together.

2. Peel the orange and take out its juice. Add this juice to the bread and egg mixture. Mix it thoroughly. Now put this mixture in another container. Put some water in a pressure cooker and place it on the flame. Now put the container inside the pressure cooker. Cover the lid tightly. Let it cook in the steam for 20-25 minutes.

3. Boil the remaining milk and add the sugar. Take out the container from the pressure cooker and gently take out the pudding from the container. Cut it into small cubes. Now add the pudding cubes into the milk when it becomes thick in consistency. Keep it for 3-4 minutes on the flame.

4. Sprinkle some cardamom powder on the top. Serve when it gets completely cold.

Plum Pudding:

The plum pudding is a delicious dessert which is loved by all.

Ingredients:

Butter- 700 grams
Raisins- 300 grams
Plum- 250 grams
Eggs- 4
Baking powder- 10 grams
Chopped apples- 500 grams
Cream- 100 ml
Biscuit powder- 500 grams
Sugar- 500 grams
Brown food colouring- 2-3 drops

Method of Preparation:

1. Take a large bowl. Add the butter, plums, raisins, baking powder, eggs, chopped apples, cream, sugar, biscuit powder and some drops of brown food colouring in this bowl. Mix all the ingredients well. Keep this mixture in the refrigerator for 48 hours.

2. Take a baking tray and grease it with butter. Pour the mixture in this tray and spread it evenly with a wooden spatula. Take a glaze paper and coat it nicely with butter. Now cover the top of the tray with this paper. Tie the paper with a thread so that it does not fall off.

3. Put some water in a pressure cooker. Put this tray inside the cooker and let it cook in the steam for 20 minutes. Serve absolutely cold.
