Ingredients required

50 gms custard powder, 500 ml milk, 100 gms sugar, chopped fruits- any.

Method to prepare

Mix custard powder in ½ a cup of cold milk. Microwave sugar and milk in microwave for 7 mins. Add custard powder to the mixture and stir in between. Microwave for 8 mins till it becomes thick. When cool, add cut fruits to it, put in the mold and set in the refrigerator. When set, remold it on a serving plate. Garnish with fresh fruits while serving.

Chocolate pudding

Ingredients required

2 cups milk, 3 tsp cocoa powder, 1 tsp gelatin, ½ tsp vanilla essence, 4 tbsp powdered sugar.

Method to prepare

In ½ cup water, mix gelatin and keep aside to dissolve. In a microwave safe bowl mix cocoa, vanilla essence, sugar and milk. Microwave for 7 ins. Now add gelatin to it. Mix and microwave for 4 mins. Pour in the serving dish and refrigerate. Garnish with sweet cream and glazed cherries/strawberries. Serve chilled.

Cake recipe

Ingredients required

1 cup flour, ¾ cup sugar, ½ cup curd, ½ cup white butter, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp soda-bi-carbonate, 5 tsp milk, 2tbsp cocoa powder.

Method to prepare

Grease a microwave safe round cake dish, sieve flour, cocoa powder, soda-bi-carbonate and baking powder in a bowl. In a separate bowl, beat curd, white butter and sugar, till fluffy and creamy. Mix sieved flour mixture with the beaten sugar mixture slowly. Add milk and stir it gradually. Pour cake batter in the greased microwave safe cake dish. Microwave for 8 mins. Cool for 10 mins on the wire rack. Garnish with your favorite icing and cut fresh fruits. Your cake is ready.

Semolina halwa

Ingredients required

½ cup semolina-suji, 2 cup water, ½ cup sugar, 1 tbsp ghee, raisin and almonds.

Method to prepare

In a microwave safe bowl, mix water, sugar and microwave for 5 mins, Keep the syrup aside. In another bowl heat ghee for 30 secs, add semolina and roast for 5 mins to roast. Stir in between. Mix the hot sugar syrup to roasted semolina. Microwave covered for 5 mins. Stir in between. Allow to stand for 5 mins and garnish with nuts and raisins.
