Signs of Pregnancy - What Are The Signs of Pregnancy - Symptoms of Pregnancy » Signs of Pregnancy-The Pains and More Pains of PregnancyWhat is pregnancy and its stages? Pregnancy is a process that mothers go through to bring their children into the world and the nine-month journey can be physically and financially exhausting and painful, but the joy of bringing a child or children into the world is well worth it for most mothers. Pregnancy has three stages, which are the first, second and third trimester and at the end of the third trimester, the baby or babies are born and the pregnancy is over.

What are the symptoms and complications of first-trimester pregnancy?
The typical symptoms of pregnancies in the first trimester are the following but not limited to the following: feelings of nausea, chronic fatigue, back pains and aches, unexpected mood swings, stress, frequent urination and weight gain, which are normal during the pregnancy stage.

For the symptoms of a second-trimester pregnancy, the typical symptoms are similar to those in a first-trimester pregnancy, but more symptoms usually occur and for the second trimester are the following, but not including: pains in the stomach, groin (female version) and thighs, occurrences of backaches, a shortness of breath, seeing changes in skin color, a tingling in the hands and/or fingers, an itching sensation on the stomach, palms of the hands and soles of the feet and jaundice (yellowing of the skin) and/or severe fatigue.

If you have symptoms of yellowing of the skin, chronic fatigue and/or constant vomiting, you should seek medical care as soon as possible, for these conditions may be related to the liver problems that are associated with pregnancy.

For symptoms in the third and final trimester of the pregnancy stage, they are typically the same as the ones in the first and second stage of pregnancies, but with new and more severe symptoms. The symptoms for third-trimester pregnancies are the following but not limited to: having constant heartburn sensations, having a swelling of the knees of the knees, fingers and face, having hemorrhoids, tender breasts, weigh gain and have sleeping troubles.

If your symptoms are severe or has continued for a long time, you should see a doctor as soon as possible to get the symptoms under control. Any severe physical illness or illnesses can affect your baby and cause it to have mental and/or physical deficiencies, so it is important to stay away for alcohol, tobacco products and hard physical labor during the pregnancy period.
