Recipe Ingredients

Beans-150 gram
Carrot-150 gram
Onion-3 numbers
Broken wheat 250 gram
Green chilli-5 numbers
Curry leaves-handful
Ginger-1 small piece
Garlic-6 cloves
Tomato-1 number
Coriander leaves-a handful
Vegetable oil-needful
Soy chunks-250 gram
Salt-needful
Turmeric powder-1/4 spoon
Coriander powder-1 and ½ spoon
Red chili powder-1 and ½ spoon
Sour less curd-1/2 cup

Recipe Preparation

1. Broken wheat should be soaked in water for one hour. Soy chunks should be soaked in water for 20 minutes Heat oil in a pan and add garlic ginger paste to it and stir well.

2. Add sliced onions, to this and stir well till golden brown color. Add sliced tomato to this and stir well till tomato is mashed. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, sliced carrot, sliced beans in simmer flame. Add necessary salt to this and stir well all ingredients.

3. Add soy chunk to this ingredient and stir well making sure that masala gets attached to soya chunks. Add some water and ½ cup Sourless curd to this and stir well. Keep a lid over pan and boil this for five minutes.

4. Take a pressure cooker and transfer this soy chunk curry to this. On top of this, add soaked broken wheat without water and then add two cup boiled water, necessary salt and turn off the pressure cooker before first whistle comes.

5. Decorate with coriander leaves and curry leaves when pressure cooker is cooled and the soy chunk pulav should be served hot.
