Whether you are pregnant for the first time or second time, symptoms are not always same. Sometimes symptoms faced in the first pregnancy are not seen in the second time pregnancy. The article lists some symptoms of pregnancy:

1. The breasts get swollen or tender because they are getting ready for breast feeding. This is due to an increased level of progesterone and estrogen hormones. The breasts look bigger and loaded!

2. When you are pregnant, you will notice, maybe after 2 weeks of conception, a little drop of blood in your inner wear. This means the fertilized egg has implanted itself on the lining of the uterus. This can be accompanied by mild cramps as the uterus is now expanding.

3. Pregnancy induces sleepiness, tiredness and fatigue because of the increase in the progesterone hormones. They increase sleepiness. Also, most of the women get weepy. This is because of the emotional turbulences and the physical changes taking place at the same time.

4. Periods stop. This is the most basic and classic symptom of pregnancy. However, get yourself checked with a gynecologist. Sometimes it may be that the periods stop due to uterine problems.

5. There is an urge to urinate more than often, especially in the first and third trimester. This is because the uterus is expanding causing pressure. Keep calm during such situations and do not get panicked.

6. A pregnant woman feels nauseate all the time. This is known as morning sickness. An increase in estrogen hormones (which fetus and placenta produces) and odors are the causes of this feeling. Odors because a woman’s sense of smell is heightened in the nine months. Other than this, meat, spicy eatables and coffee are known to induce morning sickness.

7. Pregnancy makes women very moody all the time. They are suddenly weepy, angry, depressed, agitated, frustrated and panicky. Their emotional state is most of the time imbalanced.

8. Pregnant women can suffer from constipation because the digestive system becomes slow.
