They gymnasium should be clean and hygienic and the cleaning of the equipments must be done from time to time. This shows how careful the gym authorities are towards hygiene and cleanliness. Similarly, the gymnasium must also have proper ventilation facilities. As people workout their and sweat, proper ventilation is necessary to avoid suffocation. Air conditioners and exhausts must be installed in the gymnasium premises.

Another thing that you must check out is that whether the trainers maintain your progress record. It is important for them to evaluate how fast you are losing weight or how much is their program benefiting you. Without proper record maintenance it is difficult to judge your progress and this will be quite careless on their part. Along with this, as soon as you join the gym a proper orientation program must be held where your trainer makes you comfortable with the machines and explains you your routine exercises well and clear your doubts.

If all these factors are kept in mind, you can never go wrong with your choice of the gym.
