CONDITION OF HIGH FEVER

• If the fever persists more than 104 degree Fahrenheit, then an effort must be made to bring down the temperature immediately.

• If the high fever is not arrested then it can prove lethal. In an infant of 6 months to a kid of 6 years, attacks can also occur.

To bring down the temperature, place a wet handkerchief on the forehead, chest and on legs and hands of a patient. Keep on changing it until the reduction of fever. But remember not to use icy water instead use normal water.

• Make a patient drink the solution of sugar or jaggery to maintain energy level in the body. You can also give a tablet of paracetamol to bring down the fever.

• Let patient take adequate rest. Change the clothes of patient regularly.

• You should take care of this fact that due to fever there is a lack of fluid in the body. So give maximum liquid to the patient. Give juice, soup or water of pulses to the patient.

• In food, give diet full of protein, calcium, Iron and vitamin.

NUMBNESS OF SKIN IN COLD CONDITION

• Take a big bowl and fill it with lukewarm water. Put the effected portion till the time it doesn’t get warm.

• Mix more hot water in the bowl. Make sure that the water doesn’t get too much warm.

• When the numbed portion of your skin gets warm, you will pain in it. So don’t panic.
