This is a healthy food for your family. Here are the tips which will help you to make banana muffins.

1. Get a large bowl and put half cup butter and one cup sugar to the bowl. Mix them well with an electric mixture. Beat them in medium speed till it becomes fluffy and light.

2. Add two large eggs and one teaspoon of vanilla essence to the butter and sugar mixture. Beat them well to form a fine mixture. Then take two large ripe bananas and mash them finely. Now add these mashed bananas in to the above mixture and beat them with the electric mixer to make a smooth mixture.

3. Take another bowl and add two cup flour, one teaspoon salt, one teaspoon baking powder and half teaspoon baking soda to the bowl and mix then well. You can also sieve them to avoid the formation of lumps while mixing.

4. Mix the flour mixture and butter and egg mixture and add one cup buttermilk or yogurt to this mixture. Mix them briefly to make the dry mixture wet

5. Take a twelve cup muffin pan and grease them with butter. Pour the mixture of flour the muffin pan. Don’t fill the cups in the muffin pan up to the brim. You can fill them up to 2/3 only..

6. Pre-heat your oven at a temperature of 400 degree F and bake the muffins for about 18 minutes or till the muffins becomes golden brown in color. If they are perfectly cooked then they will be firm to touch and pebbly on the top.

Allow your banana muffins to cool for a few minutes and then serve them hot.
