Tips to Make the Baked Bean Bake

1. Prepare your oven by preheating the oven at 180 degree C.

2. Take thick slice of white or brown bread and toast the bread lightly under the grill on either side or use a toaster of this purpose.

3. Get a large onion and peel and chop it finely. You can use a frying pan to saute the onion or you can do it in the oven itself. Add two table spoon of olive oil before saute the onion and make the onion golden brown.

4. Buy two 415 gram weigh baked beans tins and put these baked beans in an oven proof container and add the fried onion to this and mix well.

5. Add good shakes of Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce to these baked beans and also input a good amount of freshly ground black pepper. This will impart an additional flavor to the baked beans.

6. You can also try different tastes by adding two or three chopped tomatoes, fried mushrooms, strips of fried or ham bacon. You can also add fresh or dried herbs according to your taste. Half table spoon curry powder or garam masala, one table spoon of Dijon or English mustard, sweet chili sauce or even tomato ketchup can vary the taste.

7. Spread butter on top of the toast and cut each slice of toast in to four triangular pieces. Place the flavored baked beans on top of each triangular slice having butter.

8. Use cheddar cheese for garnishing the toast and grate the cheese over the baked beans. Now keep the decorated toast in the oven for at least 20 minutes till the baked beans bake is ready with a bubbling and a golden color.

Now your baked bean bake is ready to serve.
