One of the typical mistakes that we make are not warming up or stretching. It is extremely important to do both before and after your routine. No matter how much of a hurry you are in, this is a must. Without stretching and warm up, you could pull a muscle or even tear something. You won’t be hurrying much if you are injured.

Another mistake is not keeping a journal. It may sound awfully girly to keep a journal but it will help you in the long run. By doing this you can keep track of the exercises that you do so that you can change it up and add variety to your workout. Unless you have photographic memory, keep a journal.

One of the biggest mistakes that we make is not having any variety in your routine. As we have said before, variety is the spice of life and it is one of the most important components of your workout routine.

You also don’t want to over do it with the straps and belts. If you use these in your routine, do not use them too regularly as this can lead to serious injury instead of helping.

Remember that protein is the key ingredient in your diet. We sometimes forget this and start to eat the things that will hurt our bodies instead of helping it.
